Cross Plains Natural Gas Seeks Illinois Gas License
Cross Plains Natural Gas LLC applied for an Illinois natural gas supplier license to serve residential and small commercial customers in all areas with small volume choice programs.  The start-up's principals include Byron Biggs, owner at Glenwood Energy Partners, and Jeremiah Collins, a limited partner at Glenwood Energy Partners.  Glenwood Energy Partners has several investments in retail and wholesale energy, including an interest in GSE Consulting.  Concho Minick, President at Kiel Partners LLC, a consultant advising private equity and other corporate clients in the deregulated energy space, is also listed on Cross Plains Natural Gas' application for meeting technical requirements.  Minick previously held positions with Optim Energy and Mirant.


Bmark Energy Receives Ohio Gas Broker License
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio granted Bmark Energy, Inc. a natural gas broker license to serve all customer classes in all service areas (11/17).


Hannaford Energy Seeks N.H. Electric License
Hannaford Energy, LLC applied for a New Hampshire electric supplier license due to rule changes which no longer exempt self-suppliers from the certification requirement.  Hannaford Energy supplies affiliate Hannaford Bros. grocery stores and related affiliates (distribution and trucking subsidiaries, etc.)
