ComEd Files POR Tariffs, Effective December 21

ComEd has filed with the Illinois Commerce Commission tariff sheets to implement the ICC's recent POR order, as first reported in Matters (12/16 & 12/17).

The tariffs have an effective date of December 21, with Rider PORCB stating, "Beginning December 21, 2010, this rider is available to Retail Electric Suppliers (RESs), as defined in the Definitions part of the General Terms and Conditions of the Company's Schedule of Rates, taking service under Rate RESS - Retail Electric Supplier Service (Rate RESS)."

As provided in the ICC's order, Rider PORCB contains a discount rate equal to 50¢ per bill plus an uncollectibles discount equal to Rider UF (see discussion of Rider UF in 12/17
