West Penn Power (Allegheny) confirmed Price to Compare information for the period beginning January 1, 2011.
Allegheny posted the Price to Compare information on its website at the start of the month; however, the information is part of a larger walkthrough providing suppliers with an understanding of how prices from the default service procurements are translated into retail pricing. The chart provided online states that it is "For Illustrative Purposes Only," however, Allegheny confirmed that the Price to Compare rates listed for the prompt months on the chart are actual Prices to Compare which will be used.
The West Penn Power Prices to Compare for major rate classes for the months of January and February 2011 are as follows. Rates are provided without and with the estimated State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (STAS)
