Pennywise Power Amendment Filing Advances
PUCT Staff recommended approval of Reliant Energy Services Texas, LLC's application to amend its REP certificate (#10177) to change its certificated name to Pennywise Power LLC and add the trade name Pennywise Power to the certificate. The change, which will facilitate a new brand under NRG Energy (apart from Reliant) which will market to cost conscious customers, was first reported by Matters (10/11/10 & 10/8/10).
