About the Role:

We’re searching for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Leader to expand our commercial broker portfolio in the PJM and Northeast markets. The role can be remote-based or based out of our HQ in The Woodlands, Texas. You will assist in directing strategy, enhancing broker relationships, and identifying growth opportunities that will elevate the company’s market position. This is a revenue generating role with a focus on exceeding revenue and gross margin targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exceed revenue targets through recruiting and managing commercial energy broker relationships in the PJM and other northeast markets.

• Develop a direct sales channel to large C&I customers.

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand the PJM and NE markets distribution network.

• Build and nurture relationships with key partners, enhancing brand presence and customer satisfaction.

• Understand market trends and identify the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and shape growth strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless alignment and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales leadership in the PJM and NE Commercial and Industrial energy markets.

• Strong track record of exceeding sales targets while maintaining gross margin requirements.

• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the retail energy markets.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Position Overview:

The Manager/Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, manage key customer relationships, and expand market share. This role involves achieving goals and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while fostering a customer-centric approach. This position works closely with all departments to align business strategies and ensure consistent delivery of products or services that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and expand relationships with existing brokers, while identifying new business opportunities within the energy sector.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products.

• Provide market insights, trends, and feedback to senior leadership.

• Execute timely pricing requests, generate contracts and close deals.

Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience in commercial retail energy sales, with a proven sales track record in commercial energy industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills.

• Ability to analyze sales performance data, forecast sales, and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Highly motivated, competitive, responsive and a self-starter with the ability to work independently.

• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.
